I forgot that just before we leaved for sihanoukville, we did some tourism in phnom penh.
There is 3 place to go in phnom penh : the king palace, the national museum and the killing field museum.
The first one is really huge ( 1600 room ) and it was already too late to enjoy it correctly. The third one is about the red khmer massacre, and it was not really what we was searching for. So we went to the national musem.
The place cost 3$ for a foreigner ( everybody say 6$ on internet, so i don't know if they cut the price of if she liked me ^^ ) and is free for khmer people.
There is a lot ( almost only that ) of statue and engraved stone of diferent period. Many of them are unknow period, and that strange, can't they date them with carbon 14?
In the centre of the museum there is an outside garden with pools who's very beautiful. The pink stone and architecture of the building is really nice.
As the king palace is just beside of the national museum, we went in front of, where there isa big garden, with a very nice view of the palace entrance on one side, and of the mekhong pavilion on the other side.
Finaly as the sun sets, we followed the mekhong to reach one of the night life place of phnom penh : the sisowath quay, where bar, restaurant and night club are full.

Moving to sihanoukville
We planned from the begining to go to sihanoukville but we had to wait my visa extention in phnom penh.
Finally my visa was done so we went back to Phnom Penh to search it and took a bus, direction sihanoukville.
The Bus drive 4h ( 250km ) to reach sihanoukville on a correct road. Except one bike who almost died hited by the bus, and a stop to take a passenger who almost reversed the bus, nothing special happened ^^
The ticket is very cheap, $4, and the bus make a 30min stop to let you eat in a restaurant and walk a litlle.
The bus terminus is in the sihanoukville downtown and tuktuk are waiting for your arival. But if like us you don't know where you gonna sleep, just go to the bar next to the bus stop, they will give you the wifi access for a beer, and you can call the different guest house in the city ^^
We found 3 guest house who can give us a room for a long stay, but finally our tuktuk drived us to a 4th that he knew and it was the best one, so we booked our room there. The guest house is called G.S.T, located at the Occhuteal beach who's the most animated, so we don't have to take a tuktuk everytime, and the room cost 6$ a night. The price should be lower for a long stay, but we booked the room when it's the most expensive period : christmas and new year, so the price is good as for a short stay it's much more expensive.
The only problem is internet, the wifi is not available in the room, and at the restaurant, where it's available, the 1.5M bandwith is not enough for that many people ( Plus my laptop battery is almost dead and there is no power supply available ).
So i went out to collect the diferent ISP price list, and i found that a 3G usb key is the best choice. For 12$ you have 4Go of download allowed and a good bandwith ( ~300kb/s ). Just don't fall in the CellCard provider trap, they make advertisment everywhere but they are more expensive than Metfone, where i finally bought my 7.2M 3G card for 40$ with 500Mo free. It's working on a prepaid card system, so anytime you want you can extend your limit easily.

Taking a rest in l'imprevu
We heard on internet about a guest house with bungalows in a very quiet atmosphere and we was looking for a place where can have a rest, so we went there for 4 days.
The place is located 7km outside of phnom penh, and you can get a tuktuk to go there in ~15min for ~7$ but they also have a free bus at 8am, just have to call them, but it was too late so we took a tuktuk.
When you arrive there you directly feel that the place is magic, there is a lot of tropical trees, a big pool, a lot of spot to sit or nap, there is a tennis, a ping pong table, a pool and a bar. The staff is very friendly and speack english and even french !
We took a bungalow with two bed for 19$ the night, just 4$ more than in phnom penh for an uncomparable difference of quality of life, there is a TV and hot water in the shower, air conditioner, also a litle fridge with many drink, and water botle are free. The cleaning staff come everyday and fulfil the fridge. The bungalows are very lovely, here what we saw from our bungalow :
All the bungalows are linked by a litle path with a luxuriant vegetation :
The swimming pool water is always fresh even with a ~35 degree all day long !
The restaurant and bar have a lot of choice and for the same kind of price as in phnom penh, ~5$, you can eat very good quality food ( they have the chicken cutlet with kampot green pepper sauce <3 ). The morning they have a very hearty breakfirst for 3.5$.
You can choose to eat at the restaurant next to the bar where there is many table and other people, or to take whatever which spot you want to be quiet.
On the saturday night we went back to phnom penh to enjoy the night life there, and one of the staff guy proposed to take us there with a friend as he had two moto. We gave him 10$ each to drive us whatever we wanted all the night and they were there at 5am to bring us back at the guest house. This club is clearly the best club i have seen in phnom penh. It's a new place, very classy, the music is fucking good, there is gorgeous girl and many foreigner, a high loaded red label glass is about 3.5$, it's more expensive than in other place, but it's definitly worth it !
The last night at l'imprevu the owner offer us a drink and we talked a lot, finally he offer to took us back to phnom penh as he was heading there.
It's a place to be if you are in phnom penh and looking to avoid the noize and crazyness of the city !

First party night in phnom penh
After a rest and my friend arrival we headed to the phnom penh downtown to seek some good place to party.
First we went to a restaurant owned by a french guy, the "on the corner" restaurant, who's on the river side, very nice litle place and have a lot of choice. I heard a lot about the kampot pepper on internet so i choosed a chicken cutlet with a green kampot sauce and some baked potatoes, and oh my god ! i still don't believe it, it's so fucking good ! It's not the best pepper in the world for nothing, it's just delicious ( when i wrote this i ate 3 time in 5 day ^^ )
We then went to a few bar who was not looking like a hotess bar ( there is a lot, mostly all are ) to drink some beer and then went to a nightclub that my friend found : The riverhouse.
The place is nice, the music is good, not exceptional, they play all style, half of the people are foreigner half are khmer. We spent a very nice moment with a Jack daniel botle ^^
As the club is on the 2nd floor they have a very nice view on the river, and you can sit outside in a litle terrace, where it's very cool to sit to talk.
I finished the night in a strange half hotel half internet cofee for 5$, on the morning when i left with a alien drunken face, all the customer in the internet coffee looked at me like "wow! foreigner come here to sleep now", very akward...
I left directly to my guest house to met my friend and eat some thin rice noodle in a soup called kiteo, like most of the khmer for the breakfirst !
The travel
That's it ! After 5 non ending month in france ( no offense to you guys or familly, but you can't understand what is the life in asia until you go there ) i finaly go to cambodia for a 3 month trip before going back to china !
The journey will be looooong, 3h30 of train at 5am to paris, then 11h of plane to guangzhou, 6h to wait, 3h of plane to phnom penh, and then have to chekin in a guest house. Total : 27 hour of travel before i can put my ass down to rest !
But that's it, i'm back ! Here is the video of my first guest house choice, the top banana, who looked really cool, but it was full :(

Then i took my first cambodia's tuktuk to go to another one, the green house, who's a litle far from center but give a very good price / quality rate compare to most of the downtown guest house
